This website is run by Louise Tanner-Stokes; a Food Relationship Coach & Confidence Building Facilitator.  Louise is a UK qualified Dietitian registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and a full member of the British Dietetic Association (BDA).  As such Louise has committed to follow the HCPC & BDA Dietetic code of conduct to ensure that all information related to diet is evidence based, professional and responsible.

All information provided in this website is aimed at helping people of the general population to manage their weight and build their confidence and self-esteem. Whilst all information related to diet/nutrition is evidence based, it is not intended to replace the personalised advice given to you by your Dietitian or GP/Physician.

Physical Activity

Louise Tanner-Stokes & The Anti-dieting Revolution encourages individuals to be more physically active.  However, before embarking on any exercise programme or modifying your current exercise programme, please ensure that you have checked with your GP/Physician or Physiotherapist that it is suitable for you to do so.  It is the reader’s responsibility to get the advice of a Physiotherapist or qualified Fitness Instructor/Personal Trainer with regards to exercise.

As stated previously the dietary information on this blog is aimed at the general public; specifically to people who are trying to manage a healthy weight.  For individual advice on specialist diets, please request a referral to see a Dietitian from your GP/Physician.
